It was Saturday 1st December at 4pm & the annual Touge Alliance Christmas party was about to launch.
This was the 1st year the event had been moved from Gorge Road and was being held at Federation Park, Gumeracha.
The days weather was sensational & the park provided great facilities for cricket, football, dancing & general tom-foolery.
We had many Touge members come along bringing friends & family to enjoy the fact that Santa was coming.
Hyperdrive3d Interclub Challenge III
The last week of October 2012, The weather is getting on the hot side but with any luck not too hot for November 1st @ Mallala Motorsport Park.
November 1st 2012 was the third trackday held by Hyperdrive3d Interclub Challenges with the association and support of Touge Alliance. The day yet again set to bring people out to the track to see what their cars could do. The day always comprises of some awesome looking cars and today was no exception. The most "race ready" car in the line-up was a Porsche GT3 Cup Car driven by T O'Daly and it was his first time out in the car which was also left hand drive.
It was the 2nd of June & it was still dark outside when I set off for the wonderful land of Dyno's (was still very sleepy).
I arrived at 6:30am to meet the "keen" ones at McDonald's South Road (across from Castle Plaza). After chowing down on some greasy goodness, we mosied onto our gracious host Ashley of Classic Performance Dyno Centre.
With the numbers looking grim we rolled off at 8am, but by 9am we had 13 cars.
Yesterday our club had an outstanding achievement. Touge Alliance went home with it's first trophy.
Touge Alliance was involved in the 2012, Old Skool N New age Auto Show at Morphett Vale Football Club Oval.
We all started off by getting together and meeting up at Macca's on South Road at 6am, YES 6am.
With everyone turning up and Marcus Cepon with his car on a trailer (extra thanks goes to him, who worked extremely hard to get his car out yesterday), we were off. Down Main South Road till we got to the football club, where we pulled over and got our entrant stickers on our cars.
After a lot of talking and planning for a wile, we then started to move our cars into their final positions to start off our display. Complete with Jared's Gazebo, uniforms and our Touge Alliance banners designed by August, we were looking good.
It is that wonderful time again, where the Touge Alliance club wanders up the Touge to our secret location for our annual Xmas Shindig!
This year, we aim to have twice the fun of last year, so ensure you come along to help us with that goal. Going on that logic, I wonder if we can fit two parked Rx7 FD with seven members in each.

On a separate note, the Touge Alliance Committee has undergone some changes. We believe that these changes are for the benefit of the club, however if you do have any questions please feel free to discuss with a committee member.
All entrants (and inquisitive people), please find the results below by selecting "Read More".
Please note that the times recorded today were restricted by the backup system used, enabling the Timing Team to give a snap shot of each outing through the recording of two or more laps for each person. Being a practice day though, the times will never be found in a book of lap records, and instead should only be used as a guide to either give yourself a pat on the back, or shake your fist in the air.
I'd like to personally thank Michael Promnitz, Rebecca Tilly and Marcus Cepon for all their wonderful work organising the times for today's event. Considering it was their first time using the software, they worked fantastically together, enabling me to quickly put up the times tonight rather then several from the event.
Well, thats enough text, time to look at the numbers~!

It was early on the 14th of August as the dew burnt off, and it was indeed a stunning day. We met up at 9am at T.T.P - sorry everyone, I was a bit late, LOL. We went across the road to grab some breakfast, before I called everyone in, and started 'laying down the law'.
We then left the car park, with Promo going the wrong way. We then hit the road, stopped for a bit, to let everyone else catch up (sorry everyone!). It was a lovely cruise up to Birdwood, with not much traffic. We cruised up parking in the car park, where I met up with the staff member who then received our money, and opened the gate, to the wet, wet grounds. With Oppo and Gusto looking for solid ground that we could position the cars in, we were off, setting up our little Touge Alliance display.
We then set off into the Birdwood National Motor Museum - wow - what some lovely cars they have in there; from Holden's to Chevrolet, they had it all. We went around the different buildings, outside, to the barn yard, up stairs to the garage - it was a lot of fun.
