It was Saturday 1st December at 4pm & the annual Touge Alliance Christmas party was about to launch.
This was the 1st year the event had been moved from Gorge Road and was being held at Federation Park, Gumeracha.
The days weather was sensational & the park provided great facilities for cricket, football, dancing & general tom-foolery.
We had many Touge members come along bringing friends & family to enjoy the fact that Santa was coming.
The afternoon started off with some cricket. A drinks break was called & that was the perfect time to serve up the BBQ dinner.
Snags, chicken wings, bacon & eggs where on the menu with some awesome salads made by Kim (Marcus' partner). Desert followed with some fantastic sweet treats brought along by a few partners.
Once the food had been digested, the (now) evening moved onto football. Football was halted when the ball was kicked into the nearby creek & nearly everybody went to help get it out. After about an hour the football was retrieved & people returned to the marquee to nibble on some food & have a few more drinks.
This was a perfect time to turn up the music & turn on the dance lights on Marcus' Hilux.
Thankyou to everyone who attended the event & we hope to see you all again @ upcoming Touge Alliance events.
